Biography
Ben joined Index in 2002. In 2017, he stepped down as an active partner. He currently focuses on existing investments.
While at Index, he spearheaded the creation of the firm's games portfolio including investments in King and Playfish (acquired by EA). Some of his other investments include iZettle, Just Eat, Notonthehighstreet, Rebtel, Secret Escapes, Shapeways and Trustpilot. Prior to Index, Ben worked at EO plc a financial services startup and with NewMedia Spark as an Investment Manager. He started his career as a consultant at OC&C Strategy Consultants advising clients in retail, media and private equity sectors. He has a Masters degree in Engineering, Economics and Management from Oxford University.
