Ali is the VP of People at Index. She leads Index’s internal talent function, providing strategic direction and overseeing the full scope of people operations.
Ali is a talent management and leadership development executive with over 15 years of experience building teams and advising organizations across many industries and stages of growth. Most recently, Ali was the Chief Talent Officer at Nova Pioneer, a venture-backed leading education company in Africa. In addition to creating people operations infrastructure and systems, she brings with her a passion for fostering intentional workplace culture where people experience excellence, growth and joy. She began her career on the investment team at Wellington Management and also has experience in the African venture capital market at Knife Capital.
Ali received her MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA from Brown University. Outside of work, Ali is passionate about travel, education equity and wildlife conservation and enjoys sharing those interests with her children.
