Robinhood Raises $363 Million to Expand Product Lineup
Robinhood raised $363 million Series D, valuing the company at $5.6 billion.
In a blog post announcing the round, Robinhood wrote:
At Robinhood, we’re guided by the belief that America’s financial system should work for everyone – not only the wealthy. In the past few months, we launched more products to further our mission of democratizing financial services, and brought your investments together on one platform.
When Jan Hammer, Index Ventures partner who led our Seed, Series A and follow-on investments in Robinhood, wrote about Robinhood 4 years ago, he talked about the team's obsession to create the best financial product. That singular focus, above everything else, has driven Robinhood towards today's milestone, and we're proud to have supported them along the way.
