Client Relationship Manager

Position Purpose

We’re looking for an experienced, multi-talented Client Relationship Manager with aptitude and interest in supporting the inbound sales pipeline for new projects. This role will: (1) onboard potential new clients through a process of email and phone conversations to understand those customers’ needs; and (2) support existing and new projects by providing excellent project coordination and customer service. The CRM role is a cornerstone member of our team who is responsible for connecting the client to Kaggle’s crowd community and enabling the best possible outcomes for each project, start to end.

As is typical with startups, candidates should be able to work independently and proactively in an environment where self sufficiency and creativity is rewarded. Ideal candidates will demonstrate superior project management instincts, an enthusiastic and personable presence with customers, skill in juggling multiple projects without losing sight of details, and a knack for getting things done within expected timelines.

Primary Responsibilities

Be responsible for the entire client experience from first contact to project wrap-up
Develop processes and tools to help the team be more effective at delivering client successes
Supervise pipeline of inbound leads and reply in the most efficient manner with appropriate marketing assets and answers to questions, as well as reaching out to past contacts
Effectively and strategically address client concerns and issues
Be a liaison between clients and Kaggle’s technical team
Provide team administration support to include: interfacing with accounting firm, interfacing with winning members of the Kaggle community, scheduling client meetings, coordinating legal review of contracts, flagging issues for broader awareness/discussion
