Account Executive

Position Purpose

As an Account Executive, you will close leads and build strong relationships with Algolia's customers. You will play an integral role in defining a replicable sales model and local sales strategies. You understand the sales process, love building human relationships, and believe that a happy customer is our best evangelist. You understand how Algolia's benefits specifically apply to each account you talk to. You will be at the front line of our revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Turn inbound and outbound leads into happy Algolia users;
Work with the Sales development team to direct where they focus their efforts;
Manage and grow a sales pipeline;
Make every Algolia's user our happy evangelizer, regardless of the deal size;
Work with the tech folks to build compelling demonstrations and sales material.

Requirements

2 to 4 years of experience in customer facing role
Ability to work autonomously
Crazy creative mind
Customer satisfaction driven
Very strong interest in technology and willingness to get your hands dirty with tech!

Nice to have

SaaS sales experience
Coding ability
Prior experience at a 10+ employee startup
